Privacy and cookies: analytics, external links and your choices

What do you need to provide to browse BlockVar?

Reading articles, exploring projects and using filters require neither a BlockVar account nor a wallet connection. Servers process the network information needed to provide pages. Do not submit recovery phrases, private keys or exchange verification codes to this site.

Page views and registration-link clicks

Google Analytics is enabled by default and records page views and clicks on Binance and OKX registration links, to help us understand which content is useful. You can decline it at any time from Cookie settings in the footer. Click events contain the exchange name, button placement, page path and language. A click does not establish that you registered with the exchange.

BlockVar does not actively send search terms, referral destinations or referral codes to Google Analytics. The service may use cookies and process browser, device and approximate location information. See the Google Privacy Policy for its data practices.

Changing your analytics choice

Analytics is on by default. Use Cookie settings in the footer to decline it at any time. Declining does not affect reading and clears the analytics cookies already set. Your choice is stored in the current browser, and clearing this site’s browser data removes that choice. BlockVar does not enable Google analytics when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Retention depends on the duration configured for this site in Google Analytics. Cookie choices are stored separately on different devices and browsers.

External token images

Some token images are provided by GeckoTerminal or CoinGecko. Loading them sends the provider the network information needed to deliver the image. BlockVar does not attach the current page address or search terms.

Project and exchange links

External projects and exchanges process visits and registration information under their own privacy policies. Some links are referral links, with a nearby disclosure that BlockVar may receive a reward. Our redirects do not append your search terms to those links. Exchange account and reward records are managed by the respective platform.

Use the contact page to describe the relevant URL and concern, without sending passwords, private keys or verification codes. This page shows its modification date when updated.
