Understanding pool figures
What do liquidity and volume tell you?
Liquidity measures assets in a pool; 24h volume measures past trading. Neither is an amount you can necessarily sell. Execution also depends on trade size, liquidity distribution, fees and token restrictions.
One address can trade many times, so address counts are not user counts. Pool quote times may differ; a price difference does not establish an arbitrage opportunity.
How do market cap, FDV and liquidity differ?
Market cap and fully diluted valuation (FDV) use different measures of token supply and are not interchangeable. Liquidity measures assets in a pool. None promises a return or establishes that liquidity is locked.
How do you check the token address and permissions?
Compare the network and full token address with the project's official publication, then inspect contract permissions, issuance limits and holders in the explorer. A matching name or logo is not enough. BlockVar has not verified affiliation, liquidity locks or sellability.
