What Are Layer3 Liquid Rewards? CUBE Mint Rebates and L3 Lock Tiers

Layer3's Rewards page lists Liquid Reward Rates up to 100%, but the higher tiers require locking thousands of L3, or a smaller amount alongside a high league. Based on the official Rewards page, this guide covers the tier conditions, claiming and the risks to weigh.

What Are Layer3 Liquid Rewards? CUBE Mint Rebates and L3 Lock Tiers

What the Layer3 Rewards page covers

As shown on the official Rewards page in October 2026, Layer3 splits "your earnings on Layer3" into four parts: Staking, L3 Incentives, Campaigns and Liquid Rewards. The page also has Perks, a Lootbox and leagues; your league is shown only after you sign in.

When we checked, the page said Season 7 had ended and rewards were being processed for eligible users. When a new season starts, and whether the rules change, follows the official page.

Liquid Rewards: L3 back for each CUBE you mint

The page states that each CUBE you mint earns L3. How much depends on your Liquid Reward Rate, which is 0% until you meet a condition.

The public part of the page does not say what the rate is calculated against. The explanation shown after you sign in is the authority, and this guide does not estimate it. For what a CUBE is and what to check before minting, see the Layer3 participation guide.

How the tiers work

The page lists five tiers. Apart from the 10% tier, each offers two routes, and meeting either is enough: lock enough L3, or meet a smaller L3 amount together with the matching league.

Liquid Reward RateRoute A: L3 lockedRoute B: L3 amount plus league
10%Any amount of L3, plus Bronze
25%At least 4,500At least 1,500, plus Silver
50%At least 9,000At least 3,000, plus Gold
75%At least 15,500At least 5,000, plus Platinum
100%At least 22,500At least 7,500, plus Diamond

Route A amounts are labeled Locked on the page; route B amounts carry no such label, so whether they also count only locked L3 follows the explanation shown after you sign in. Once signed in, the page's "Total Locked Staked L3" and "Next Tier" fields show where you stand.

Using the L3 you earn

The page offers two options: claim to your wallet, or use the balance in the platform. Before claiming to a wallet, check the network and any fee; act only on Layer3's official pages, and treat "claim" links from unfamiliar pages as phishing.

A rebate rate is not a yield

  • Higher tiers need a lot of L3: on the locking route, 25% takes 4,500 L3 and 100% takes 22,500; the other route needs less L3 but the matching league. The L3 price moves while it is locked, and the lock and unlock rules follow the official page.
  • The rebate is paid in L3, not cash: even at a high rate, the L3 you receive changes in value with its price, and minting a CUBE can involve network or mint fees, shown on the confirmation screen.
  • It happens only when you mint: the rebate depends on how many CUBEs you actually mint. Before buying and locking L3 to reach a tier, weigh the risk of the locked capital against how many CUBEs you would mint anyway.

How campaign rewards differ from Liquid Rewards

The Campaigns area covers the quest campaigns you take part in on Layer3; each quest page sets its own reward asset and claim conditions, as the Layer3 participation guide explains. Liquid Rewards are the L3 returned at your rate when you mint a CUBE. The rules and assets differ, so do not apply one's conditions to the other.

When we checked, the claims in the page's Latest Activity feed were all in USDC, and the page did not say which kind of reward they came from.
