How to Claim Grass Stage 2 Rewards: USDC Steps, Deadline and Phishing Checks
Grass Stage 2 ended on June 8, 2026, and its rewards are paid in USDC. This guide follows the official documentation on eligibility, point conversion and the claim deadline, and shows how to avoid phishing pages while you claim.

What period Stage 2 covers
According to Grass's announcement of July 10, 2026, Stage 2 covers Epochs 1 to 19, from October 14, 2024 to June 8, 2026. Rewards for this stage are paid entirely in USDC. Grass states that the distribution creates no new GRASS emissions and does not change the circulating supply.
What you receive is a dollar stablecoin, not GRASS. Movements in the GRASS price do not change an allocation that has already been calculated in USDC.
Who can claim
Grass lists two conditions: you earned more than 0 Network Points during the eligibility period, and you do not reside in a jurisdiction restricted under the Rewards Program Terms.
The first condition matters more than it looks. Grass records two kinds of points: Uptime Points for keeping the client online, and Network Points only when your bandwidth is actually used. An account that earned uptime but no Network Points during the period falls outside Stage 2.
Accounts that started running the client after June 8, 2026 are not added to Stage 2 retroactively.
How the USDC amount is calculated
Grass converts the two kinds of points separately, with multipliers by device:
- Network Points: 0.0049 USDC per point. The Chrome extension earns the standard rate, the desktop client 5x and Android 10x.
- Uptime Points: 0.00000007 USDC per point, with 2x for desktop and 3x for Android.
A Network Point is worth roughly 70,000 times an Uptime Point, so a Stage 2 allocation depends almost entirely on Network Points. A device that stayed online but rarely had its bandwidth used will usually convert to very little USDC. The official dashboard shows the amount you can actually claim.
These rates applied to the Stage 2 settlement only and say nothing about what points are worth now or later.
Where to claim and when the window closes
Claims take place in the official Grass dashboard. The window opened on July 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM US Eastern time and closes on January 22, 2027. Rewards left unclaimed are retained by Grass; nothing is sent to your wallet automatically.
A safe order of steps:
- Type the Grass website address yourself or use a bookmark you saved earlier. Do not follow links other people send you.
- Sign in with the same account you used during Stage 2 and check the Stage 2 amount in the dashboard.
- Follow the claim prompts inside the dashboard, and confirm that what you receive is USDC.
Avoiding phishing pages
Claim periods are when phishing peaks. The Grass window is six months long, so a real claim never needs to be rushed. These signs almost always mean a fake page:
- A countdown, or warnings such as "final hours" or "limited spots".
- A request to send funds first, pay an "unlock fee" or "gas deposit", or enter a seed phrase or private key.
- A link that came from a DM, a group chat, a comment thread or a search ad rather than from the site you opened yourself.
- A wallet prompt to approve a token or sign a message that has nothing to do with receiving USDC.
If you already signed an approval on a suspicious page, see how token approvals work and how to revoke them. More warning signs are in how to spot fake airdrop claim sites.
Is joining Grass now still worth it?
As of October 2026, Grass has not announced how participation after June 8 will be rewarded. Running the client now trades certain costs, such as data, electricity and hardware, for a reward that is not yet defined. The cost checklist in the Grass participation guide helps you decide.
